Tony Higgins, Policy and Education at FIFPro, the international trade union for professional footballers joined ILTUS weekend students to talk about his work on Social Dialogue and working on discrimination (Show Racism The Red card) in world football. Tony gave an inspiring lecture to the 06&10 block residential groups and later joined students for a drink at the White Hart. In his playing days Tony was a hero figure in Edinburgh playing for Hibs where he captained the side and played alongside the legendary George Best when he joined Hibs towards the end of his career. He is a committed trade unionist and worked for the GMB as GS for the Scottish Footballers Association before his move to FIFPro.
